The Death Star

There is a kind of star that when it reaches a catastrophic event in its life; forms a magneton and shoots out intense beams of energy from its magnetic poles. There is one of these stars pointing in the general direction of the Solar System WR104. It could have had this catastrophic event already and the high energy beam is on its way. The energy is light, nothing moves faster than the speed of light – we would have no warning. It would erase all life from half the planet and strip the atmosphere straight off the other half. It would erase the rest of the surface of the planet over the next twelve hours – the pyramids would vaporise. It would not only erase all life from Earth – but all evidence there ever was life. We wouldn’t see it happen – it would all just end in a flash. The beams would spin producing cones of carnage across the galaxy. The star is called by some The Death Star. It would be a very narrow beam of energy on the cosmic scale of things and Earth would be a very small target, it could easily just shoot buy giving us a beautiful super nova to witness – star so bright we could see it during the day; we are overdue for one. It could happen any time between now and a hundred million years or so from now. They say it is so far away the beam wouldn’t be such a big deal by the time it hit Earth. But they could have got the math wrong by a few light years. It is there; God could erase the Earth if He wanted to.
