I am sitting here on the verge of publishing my first book. A collection of SiFi musings that delve into Esoteric and Existential philosophy in a way frighteningly relevant to our current evolutionary state. Mixing theology and science fiction like this is going out into dangerous territory – this is a revolutionary new way to look at the issues of Eternity and exactly what has been interceding from up on high. People might not be happy with me expressing such unorthodox views of sacred concepts. When I was first dealing with Christian faith it helped to deal with miracles in the Old Testament thinking that it could all be explained by advanced alien technology – I still find myself amusing those thoughts. Most Christians find Revelation to be too difficult to deal with; I love it and I did a study of Daniel as part of my liberal arts degree. I spent some time living with an old hippy that claimed he was a wizard, he knew a lot about it. “W is the sixth letter in the Hebrew Alphabet – WWW, the mark; the internet is the beast.” These are frightening ideas and it is likely I will disturb people, I don’t want to trespass, but I think these are ideas that need to be expressed. I learned early on in my performance arts career that when you express you’re self you open the possibility of criticism. But it’s not like they are burning heretics these day now is it? So now I’m going to take a chance and tell my frightening story and see who it offends.
I need to acknowledge a few people: Dr Ryan Mesmore who gave a bum like me a chance, Dana Lynn Duncan who gave me a comfortable place to write, my Dad who gave finical assistance over the years and Jeff Prosser my Christian mentor who dealt with my crazy ideas. No man is an island and I have needed a lot of assistance from friends and family over the years. Fortunately I have good backers and I have made good use of what they have entrusted me with. The clown got me so far, but I think the philosopher is really going to take me places as I enter what Aristotle called the prime of life.
