The mass of the entire universe not including dark matter is estimated to be 4.9 times 10 to the 53rd kilos. Using the Planck Constant the Schwarzschild radius of a black hole this size would be 77 million light years. The Big Bang is a blackhole happening in reverse. From a relative perspective nothing happened before this time because not even maths happens before the event horizon. The quantum mob says the was some really hot, fast, small stuff happening before this time. Maths, physics and reality start happening at the quanta which is much smaller than a photon. Infinites don’t happen in quantum theory.
At the event horizon photons come into existence; fractures in space time being formed as the universe is being stretched into existence from the quanta by the pull of the vacuum of eternity. The quantum mob say the fundamental forces of the universe come into existence inside the blackhole at the centre of creation as quantum forces come into existence. The smallest time period they are looking at in the Planck Time. The time it takes a photon to travel the distance of one Planck Length. The Planck Length is the smallest thing we can imagine can physically exist. This is much smaller than a photon. The the Planck Time is a very short period of time. They can’t be sure it’s the quanta but it is very small and might as well be.
The Planck Time is 5.391 times 10 the the -44 seconds. Apparently they can tell what the universe was like one Planck Time unit after the Big Bang by observing what comes out of the quantum high energy collisions they can create in quantum accelerators. If Relative Theory stands then from the event horizon it is an infinite, in which case it is all a little dull as not even maths happens in this state. But if Quantum Theory stands there are no infinites and there is a quanta at the centre of the pit. A staggeringly deep pit, but not a bottomless pit. There is a chance that gravity doesn’t come into play until the event horizon. That photons are a tangible result of tares in space time created by the presence off gravity.
We can imagine much smaller maths than photons and even observe much smaller things than photons. So the Quantum Theory of creation is much more exciting than the Relative. In which case it would have taken 10 to the -34 seconds for the quantum universe to reach the event horizon from the quanta.

The Planck Epoch is the smallest, hottest thing we can imagine as after this it is so hot and so small not even maths happens. At this point there is a single united force. In the Grand Unified Theory Epoch it is still extremely hot at 10 to the 32 kelvin. The key fundamental forces begin to seperate as things cool down. The Inflationary Epoch is rapid with an expansion of 10 to the 26 times in 10 to the -4 seconds. This is faster than the speed of light which is possible because gravity is not an issue yet. This rapid expansion caused the universe to form a regular homogenous and isotopic structure. While at the micro scale of the universe things are staggeringly chaotic, at the macro scale of the universe things are very tidy. Any irregular anisotropic structures were erased in this time.
It is possible to very briefly look at the kinds of energy that existed before the event horizon at the beginning of creation. We can not observe the universe before the event horizon because there is no light to observe. Given gravity is not an issue we can suppose a lot about the very early universe and even create those kind of conditions.
It possible that at the beginning is the grounding influence of the quanta that complies quantum laws. But at the edge is the pull of the vacuum eternity that complies to relative laws. Maybe one applies at one end off the universe and the other at the other end of the universe? At one end a quanta that complies to fundamental laws, at the other end eternal chaos.
The Cosmic Microwave Background, whose discovery was instrumental to development of the the Big Bang theory, is 380,000 years old. It is exceedingly cold at 2.75 Kelvin, it is also exceedingly uniform. This is thermal radiation left over from the Recombination Epoch a long time after the event horizon when hydrogen atoms were forming. The universe becomes transparent from this point on. We can not make observations before this time making science difficult. But we can do the maths and observe the kinds of matter that existed during the Dark Ages before hydrogen formed.
